About Us

Since these early beginnings in 1976 Anglo Irish Refrigeration, AIR Group has become somewhat of an ‘institute’ in relation to the business of retailing, wholesaling and servicing all types of refrigeration equipment in the 32 counties of Ireland. The company relocated to it's present location in Ashbourne, Co. Meath in 1980. Over the years AIR has developed many long-standing customers and a presence throughout the country. Portglenone Refrigeration was formed in 1988 and has since become one of the leading refrigeration and air conditioning companies in Northern Ireland. Acquired by Anglo Refrigeration in 2006, it strengthened the company’s all-Ireland coverage and the growing Portglenone team of service, maintenance and installation engineers now provide top-quality work to leading group retail companies as well as numerous independent stores. Food Equipment Solutions (FES) was established to provide a dedicated service for all market segments of the retail food sector. FES consults with clients as to their specific needs and then devises a customised solution that also acts as a profit centre for their business. Areas covered include ventless cooking equipment; food prep; cooking; hot and cold hot and cold displays; refrigeration; storage; cleaning; innovation; and preventative maintenance

Trimfold Envelopes Limited is Ireland’s largest manufacturer and supplier of envelopes, print and mail-media solutions, producing over 600,000,000 envelopes per year.

Our plant is based in the Heritage town of Trim in County Meath and specialises in high volume production of stock products and bespoke items. In addition to our manufacturing facility we also have a dedicated envelope printing department on site servicing the whole of the island of Ireland with extremely fast turnaround times.

Since establishing the business in 1971 we have built an outstanding reputation for providing our customers with creative solutions, superior products, on-time deliveries and a continuing commitment to provide first class customer service.

To ensure we maintain our enviable levels of service and exceed our customer expectations, our experienced team of dedicated Account Managers, supported by the latest IT systems and with their vast product knowledge, ensures Trimfold Envelopes remains in a position to provide our customers with all of their envelope and mail media printing needs.

Our modern 100,000 sq. ft plant comprises 78,000 sq. ft of manufacturing facilities and 22,000 sq.ft of warehousing. We employ over 60 experienced production staff, using state of the art equipment ensuring we have the capability to meet any customer requirement ranging from a few hundred envelopes to several million at a time.

In 2006 Trimfold Envelopes became part of the Mayer Kuvert network, Europe’s largest independently owned envelope manufacturing group. With over 50 plants throughout Europe, the Mayer Kuvert network produces over 45,000,000 envelopes per day and continues to be at the cutting edge of envelope manufacture in Europe.

Founder and company Director Shane Finnegan established Harp Renewables Ltd. in 2014 to provide a renewable and sustainable solution for the treatment of organic waste. Since that time, Harp Renewables has emerged as a global leader in thermophilic aerobic digestion, and waste treatment solutions. The company manufactures and sells a range of Harp Bio-Digesters that convert food and other organic waste into a dry, safe, nutrient-rich, soil product enhancer. Harp’s solution eliminates landfilling of harmful organic wastes, provides soil regeneration, and significantly reduces CO2 and greenhouse gases.

Harp Renewables combines electrical engineering expertise with renewable, proprietary bio-technology to provide clients with a better, cleaner, and more sustainable alternative to traditional waste disposal, while reducing overall costs.

In 2018 Harp Renewables won the 'Best Indigenous Innovation Award' at the Energy in Agriculture awards and the 'Best Agri Innovation Award' at the National Irish Ploughing Championships in Ireland.
