Allied endeavor to maximise recycling and minimise the quantities of waste disposed of to landfills, our business goal is zero waste to landfill

Our location is perfect for servicing the midlands area, there are several thriving towns within a 30km radius of our depot that are easily accessible by a good roads network. A lot of these towns have a growing commuter population as the jobs in Dublin are becoming more accessible for people living outside of the city. Proximity to the Motorway is another advantage making the airport and Dublin port very accessible. Another major advantage of our location is fibre speed broadband services.
Question 3. How long have you been located/operating in Meath?

Customers normally choose Allied because of our competitive prices but they stay with us because of our efficient and reliable service. The customer is number one with us and we tailor our waste management solutions to suit each customer’s individual need.
Question 5. Why did you join County Meath Chamber?
We were originally a member of Kells chamber which progressed to Meath chamber. It is good to have a forum for local business to network and keep in touch with what is happening in our county and play a part in helping to make Meath a good choice to live and to set up a business.
Question 6. Have you any future developments in the pipeline?
We are constantly looking for new ways to improve recycling methods and provide a closed loop to bring waste materials back into use.

We spend a lot of time with our customers so not only do we know their waste needs, but we can anticipate their waste needs in advance. Through appropriate communication and training we aid customers to increase the quantity of waste recycled to the maximum possible through actively encouraging improved waste handling on site. Our customers are becoming ever more conscious about the environmental impact of their business and we can provide them with reports on the waste collected from their premises and how we have handled it. We are continuously updating our reporting technologies to enable customers to access information, householders can check their accounts, collection days and even data on their waste on our customer app. Skips and bins can be ordered online for next day delivery at www.alliedrecycling.ie
Question 9. How has Covid - 19 affected your business and what steps have you made to go forward?
As an essential service we are lucky to have been able to keep working collecting waste from our customers throughout the pandemic. We have had to make changes to how we carry out some of our work to ensure safety of our staff and customers, this has now become the norm for us and we will continue to work this way for as long as is necessary. We were lucky enough to have already had modern systems in place to allow our administrative staff to work from home with no disruption to customer services… another advantage to working in Meath.. fibre broadband services.
