Question 1. Who are Enersol and what do you do?
Enersol provides electrical power engineering services to the Data Centre, industrial, commercial, electrical utilities and renewable energy sectors in Ireland and the UK. Specialising in MV and LV power requirements, our experienced electrical engineering and support teams will partner with your organization ensuring a seamless, responsive and professional service from system design right through to maintenance and support.
Question 2. How long have you been in business and why did you choose County Meath?
Enersol was founded in 2002 and we now employ 30 staff. We do work in Ireland, UK, Holland, Germany, Sweden and Africa and are currently starting projects in Switzerland and France.
We choose Meath because of the access to the M1 corridor, closeness to Dublin but far enough outside that staff can afford accommodation and have an improved quality of life. The cost of doing business is reasonable and that is very important in a very competitive business.
Question 3. Why do your Customers choose to do business with you?
We treat our customers with respect and have always strived for excellence in customer relations and building long term partnerships. We don’t compromise on any areas where safety is at stake and our customers know this. All our work is carried out to the highest standards and industry best practices and we pride ourselves on not only meeting safety requirements but exceeding them. The vast majority of our works comes from repeat business with the same group of customers that we have worked with for years but we are always looking to add to the customer base. We look to be the MV partner of all of our customers.
Question 4. Tell us about your ambitious plans to expand Enersol in the not too distant future?
We are aiming to grow the business at 20%+ per annum. Despite being significantly affected by Covid19 and Brexit we will achieve double digit growth in 2020/21.
Question 5. Expanding Enersol will mean expanding your team. What positions are currently available an how do you nurture the team ?
That’s right Mark, as Enersol expands we are looking to fill a number of positions. We are currently recruiting for a Tendering Estimator/QS, a Senior Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, Site Electrical Personnel, a Project Manager and 1st Year Electrical Apprentices.
The Enersol team is strong and diverse and of course we believe them when they tell us that Enersol is a great place to work! We both value the individual and nurture the collective contribution in achieving our shared goal of ‘Energizing the Future’. Year on year we invest in training and upskilling to ensure our entire team are at the cutting edge of technological developments and we welcome their feedback on avenues to strengthen themselves or others within Enersol.
Question 6. Why did you join County Meath Chamber and what the experience been like?
We joined Meath Chamber in 2019 with the hope of increasing Enersol’s business profile in County Meath and connecting with the wider business community. It’s true to say that our Chamber experience has exceeded by expectations. We were invited to exhibit at the County Meath Apprenticeship Expo to connect directly with candidates, met some great people and developed new business relationships. The benefits of membership to Meath Chamber are far reaching and there’s a real sense of community among the members who are 100% supported by a friendly, welcoming Chamber team who keep us fully informed, provide one to one advice and full support without any fuss.
Question 7. What’s your advice for business
You are not alone; your worries and concerns are most likely replicated across your sector and more than likely being impacted by something that is happening at a national or even global level. Reach out for support and never be afraid to ask for help. Together we are stronger!
